A decade ago, this Scout Troop sent the first video in a Peace Crane Exchange, recording it in the language of their exchange partners. It’s joyful, short, clear, and perfect! Sending videos is a great way to quickly bring your students, school, and country to your exchange partners. This group chose to record their video in Spanish, the language of their exchange partner. I have seen other groups give tours of their school, talk about their favorite subjects, introduce their school mascots, and even report unusual weather events and other regional news. The videos can be uploaded to YouTube and shared with a link, making this kind of exchange free with the right equipment and access.
